• How much does this service cost?
  You can purchase subscriptions for 3, 6 or 12 months at a time. The prices are:

  • $3 for 3 months ($1 per month)
  • $5 for 6 months (83c per month)
  • $9 for 12 months (75c per month)

  There are discounts available for bulk purchases and we often have a variety of promotions or trials that lessen or remove this expense entirely.

• Can I get a free subscription to try it out?
  Yes! We find that more than 90% of people who try out service for free end up using it indefinitely. Please check the promo section for more information or contact us directly with the name/ASIN of the title you would like to track and your account email address. In return, all we ask is that you consider recommending us on, reviewing the service or blogging about us - although, this is not an obligation.
• Will you provide historical data for my product?
  RankTracer will only start collecting data from the time your subscription is activated. The only way to get the complete sales performance for a book or product is to start tracking it from the time it is released.
• What is trace credit?
  We provide trace credit that can be used to speed up purchases, renewals and even shared and emailed with anyone. Trace credit is stored in your account and used automatically whenever you checkout.
• How do I purchase a subscription to track my book or product?
  Tracking a product is easy:

  1. Log in and enter your book's name/ASIN in the space provided under the Track Amazon Products form
  2. Select the duration and locale from the results and then click Add to cart
  3. Once you have finished adding products click Checkout in the main menu (top right)
  4. Complete the checkout process (you will have to go to PayPal if you haven't already purchased trace credit) and your subscriptions will be automatically activated as soon as your payment has been confirmed
• How can I add RankTracer sales analysis and data to my own website or blog?
  We realize that its often important for you to take control of your own marketing and promotions. Each active subscription comes with a Promote button. This houses a few embeddable snippets of HTML that allow you to add your product's sales performance information to any blog or website - perfect for bragging about your latest book. You can also use our product tracking and book promotion widget.
• How does the product tracking & book promotion widget work?
  The widget holds a cache version of a product’s data for just under one hour. After the cache expires, it will update on the next page request. In other words, whenever a page is requested once the hourly cache expires, the data updates. The build time at the bottom right hand side of the widget shows you the last time the widget updated (GMT). Anyone visiting your webpage will always see the widget updated within the last hour. As it stands, the current widget on your site makes use of only html and is small and secure and does not use any of your site’s bandwidth (which is would if we used AJAX).
