Setting up an API account
- create a RankTracer account - We need to know who you are so that we can control how the widgets are used and to prevent abuse. Don't worry, it's quick and free.
- contact us - Let us know who you are, your site domain, and roughly how many widgets you expect your site to serve.
- learn the process - We'll set up your account and provide you with an API key that is attached to your RankTracer account and domain. We'll also show you how to build the code snippets to embed into your page and we'll do the rest. Nice and simple.

A widget api account allows you to embed completely new and unique widgets directly into your webpages without having to create each one manually.
This is absolutely necessary for sites with more than a handful
of pages.
Widget API usage
The widget API follows a simply process to determine what products to serve and in which type of widget. API customers can expect documentation and support to get them up and running.
While we are able to supply widget API accounts to anyone who requests it. We want to go slowly while the system is still in BETA. For this reason, we will deal with any interested parties on an individual basis for the time being.
