Our Mission

We strive to provide a cost-effective, unique and powerful tracking and analysis service that provides timely and valuable sales related information to help customers from a diverse range of backgrounds succeed. Retailers, eCommerce store owners, publishers, manufacturers, marketers, and shoppers can benefit from the data, analysis and insights we provide.

In addition, we also provide free tools, information and software to help track, promote, buy & sell products via the Amazon marketplace.

Our History

RankTracer began, in 2006, as a small PHP script that queried Amazon on an hourly basis. Within a few months, a basic tracking and graphing service was released to the public. By the end of 2007, RankTracer had a built in sales estimation engine, a reporting and alert service as well as several free tools for researching product information on Amazon.

After a redesign of the user interface in 2008, along with the addition of several powerful new features, RankTracer began to attract a small community of regular clients. With a burgeoning community came new suggestions and feature requests and the pace of development and refinement of the service quickened.

By early 2009, RankTracer was attracting as many new customers in a month as it did in all of its first year of operation. A community network service for members was added along with a suite of free tracking tools.

With more than five thousand published authors, publishers, editors, celebrities, manufacturers and business leaders utilizing RankTracer, and traffic volumes that grow every quarter, RankTracer continues to grow into the de facto tracking and analysis service for the publishing and online retailing industries.

RankTracer Enterprise

By 2014, with a growing base of corporate clients, RankTracer decided to split the service into retail and enterprise versions. RankTracer Enterprise offers flexibility and power in managing larger volumes of subscriptions using a flat fee structure.

In addition, the enterprise version also has new features and functionality to bring power and insight to its business customers.

Amazon Price Tracker

With the demand for additional features, we decided to include price tracking into our offering. This, in turn, led to the development of our freely available price tracker that offers the most accurate, hourly price tracking service available.

By combining sales and price tracking features, RankTracer can provide unparalleled price histories, product and market research, as well as price and sales comparison lists. All of which combine to produce industry leading market analysis for both buyers and sellers alike.
